Firefly was started by me, Lisa Fulthorpe, a Brighton-based filmmaker, scriptwriter and editor with many years of experience telling compelling stories. I have written for the BBC and C4 and my short films have won awards.

I believe that 'story is queen' and it’s storytelling which is at the heart is of Firefly Film - I love capturing people at their best moments, in a relaxed way and letting them tell their stories - about what they do in life, how they do it and what drives them.

As Filmmaker:

Creative Future:

I film events and workshops and also interviews for this charity that works with artists and writers who lack opportunities due to mental health issues, disability or social circumstances.  I recently completed an advocacy film which starred 3 artists. The film demonstrated how Creative Future has supported them both in terms of their creativity and also in terms of their wellbeing.
